robynl : Unless we hear otherwise, fruit orders will be delivered on Saturday, December 12. We do not have a scheduled time at this point but we should know sometime next week. We will let you know as soon as we get the exact time and let you know what time you can pick up your order. If you are willing to help unload the truck when it comes, we definitely need the help! robynl : Just a reminder that if you are participating in Mary Kay or Party lite fundraiser, all orders are due on Friday, December 4 to ensure delivery for Christmas! Also, Any student who owes money for candy slaes will be given a slip on either Friday or Monday for the balance that they owe!

Practice on Tuesday, March 9

Please be aware that due to the snow days last week, there will be practice after school on Tuesday, March 9. Schedule is as follows:

4 - 5 Concert Band

5 - 6 Pizza and drinks will be served for all band students

6 - 7 Symphonic Band

Please make arrangements for your student to attend and arrangements are made to pick them up afterwards.

Also, the Papa John's fund raiser will be handed out during this time. All coupons sell for $10 each and your child will receive $7 in their account for each one that they sell! Its a great way to raise money for band camp! They will each be given 10 to start with and additional coupons are available if needed! If you have any questions please contact Robyn Logan @ 770-287-3451 or 517-812-8218. End of fundraiser will be Monday, March 29 and students will need to turn in any coupons that they do not sell along with the money for what they did sell.

LGPE Information

Closed Practices are as follows:

Tuesday, February 23- Concert Band 6- 8:30 PM in CHS Band Room

Thursday, February 25-Symphonic Band 6-8:30 PM in CHS Band Room

Performance:

Thursday, March 11- BOTH Concert and Symphonic Band will travel to Hart County for LGPE. Departure time is 11:30 AM and return time is around 11:30 PM. Students will need money for lunch and dinner and arrangements need to be made for your student to be picked up from the school when we return.

Concert Band plays at 5:00 PM

Symphonic Band plays at 8:10 PM

Concert Attire is required for this event!

Students who ordered concert attire this year need to make sure that their tuxedo's and dresses fit as soon as possible! Please don't wait until the day before the performance to try on! Please make sure that dress, pants, and arm lengths are correct!

Band Booster Meeting

The next Band Booster Meeting will be Thursday, March 18 at 7 pm in the band room. Please make plans to attend. We will be covering all upcoming Spring events as well as fundraisers and band camp information. In an attempt to ease the burden of the cost of band camp, we are setting up payment dates and need to start collecting payments earlier than in previous years. Notes will be sent home with students shortly but be aware that a payment will be due on March 26. We are also working on firming up some dates for all Spring activities and will have them posted within the next few days.
